UCB Transfer Housing

Thanks for sharing that! And I like long posts so that’s no problem.

Your first experiences with roommates sound difficult, and that’s what I’m kind of scared of. I don’t mind having a roommate, but oh my gosh sharing a bedroom with someone is something I would have to get used to. That’s like the one thing I’m not looking forward to. Everything else I’m really excited about.

So I guess I can pretty much kiss my chances of getting a single goodbye? Is that what you put down as your first choice?

@music1990‌ Housing is a lottery. If you land in Martinez apartments (which are pretty popular) you’ll get a single… otherwise, you’re probably going to be in a double/triple. You usually get your choice between double/triple, at least. :stuck_out_tongue: I think I put Martinez first and Wada second on my preferences both years, it’s a bit random where you end up.

As for roommates… just remember that they’re just as worried about being at a new school and living with a stranger as you are.
