UCDavis Economics or UCSB Economics and Accounting

Which has better job prospects/internships?

I've heard that UCSB Economics and Accounting sends at least fifteen people to each of the Big 4 per year, but I would like work in Corporate Strategy, Advisory, Consulting or Transactions and Strategies, then attend a top MBA program... not in Auditing or Tax Accounting... Problem is I don't know if UCDavis is strong enough to get me into such positions as they're usually reserved for students at Berkeley and the Ivy Leagues... I can't find any information as to who recruits at UCDavis and where/which fields UCDavis Economics majors have gone off to work.

Not sure about jobs after UCDavis but I would choose UCSB because UCD is more known for science imo. Their only business major is Econ is it not? That being said, my friend has been able to find internships but also complains how he wishes there was more and thinks it’s because UCD isn’t as business oriented.

The schools are close enough in reputation and resources that the most important thing is probably to choose the campus where you’ll be more comfortable as a student. How happy you are at the school will be by far the biggest factor in your success.
