HI. Any feedback on this Hospitality program at UCF? Event Management vs. Entertainment Management, etc.
@suecav D18 is in the Hospitality program at UCF and loves it. They have their own campus, close to Sea World and Universal. All the dorms on campus are apartment style. She isn’t in Event or Entertainment, so I can’t answer, but the courses are listed on the website. Lots of kids have jobs at the various theme parks, so a great opportunity to see how the industry works.
Did your daughter ever live at Rosen? My son was accepted, will major in hospitality and wondering if he should live on main campus his first year or go for Rosen. The smaller campus appeals to him, but it would be a lot of commuting for the gen ed classes. And the Rosen housing seems to be really nice.
@vannevka She did live on main campus first year in Neptune. She had 4 general ed classes left so she took those along with a few hospitality courses that were offered on main campus. This year she is at Rosen and loves it. She still goes back to main campus for football and to visit some friends but is so glad that she doesn’t have to take any classes over at main campus.
She is glad she lived on both campuses.
