Nothing yet on scholarships. Wondering if they are still rolling out?
@STEM2017 Based on last year they should continue to roll out for another couple of weeks.
S received his letter today confirming the Knights Achievement Award – $44,000 over 4 years.
Yay @VABogart you can breathe again!
Did you have to apply for the scholarships, or is it automatic based on your stats/application?
I’m still waiting on my acceptance letter but I qualify for the Top Ten Knights so idk if the people know based on the transcript? Also, I called and they said it’s going to take about 5-7 days for them to finish processing my stuff, do you guys think the scholarships will be out or limited by then?
I’m in state, 4.0 weighted, 5.13 uw. nSAT 1270. 20+ AP Classes. Top Ten of Class. Do you think I qualify for any scholarships
Came in late last night to find scholarship letter in mail also confirming Knights Achievement! @Trisherella, you are automatically considered when application submitted. @senior2k17, great stats! Hopefully you’ll hear something soon! Best of luck, all.
How long does it takes from acceptance date until you guys receive the scholarship notice? And is it send through mail only? Or can you view it on myucf?
How do you find out if you’ve been given a scholarship or financial aid ? I’ve been accepted for about two weeks and have received no notice from the school regarding that.
@16mom828 S just sent off his application for the Burnett Honors College. Hopefully, he hears back soon.
Hey do they have a scholarship deadline ,or do I need to apply really early to be considered for scholarships?
They start giving out scholarships until they run out of money, so applying early allows you to know that UCF still has money to give out. If you apply at the end of December for example, they may or may not have money to give out. However, I think if you were to apply right now, you’d still have a shot to get a scholarship @19suns .
@VABogart - that’s great news! I bet he’ll make it in My son heard back about a week after submitting his application in mid-October. They may be busier now so it may take a little longer- keep us posted & best of luck to him!

How do I find out if I have a scholarship???
@16mom828 How does UCF let you know that it has received the Burnett Honors College application, and how do the university notify you? Are either or both notifications online at the myUCF account? If so, what tab does UCF use to notify its receipt of the application, and letting you know whether you’ve been accepted? Thanks!
@senior2K17, @runninggirl99 it took just about 2 months from my acceptance notification until scholarship notification. Go to MyUcf & click Student Self Service, go to Holds & To Do’s, then click To Do’s. There will be a link that says Scholarship Status, if you got one. Official letter comes in the mail several days later. Hopefully now that the holidays are over, the notifications will be rolling out. Best of luck!
Still no scholarship info. Son accepted on 10/24 with above average stats. At this point, USF with scholarships is less expensive than his in-state option and its looking much better than UCF.
@STEM2017 My daughter was accepted around the same time and was accepted into the honors college 10 days later. She has above average stats, and I know she qualifies for a scholarship, but we’re still waiting. I’m guessing that offers went out to the first round of UCF acceptances first, and next they will offer to the second round. My daughter is very frustrated waiting, but I am confident that an offer will come. Don’t lose hope. Your son has good enough stats and applied early enough to get a scholarship
@VABogart go to The Burnett Honors College website at http://honors.ucf.edu/ and click on the Admissions Tab then click on the Incoming Freshmen option and finally click on the Application Status Track option. My son saw his acceptance listed on their website first and it was followed up with a mailed letter a few days later. Best of luck to your son!
I was accepted into the honors college!
