What is the likelihood of getting into Blackstone or Broadview at this point? I submitted my housing application on 4/25, so I have a spot in the queue already. Those two would have been my first choices, but they are a bit smaller. If I maybe changed my ranking to Broadview, BJ, South (in that order), do you think I would have a good chance of getting one of my top 3 choices? One of my top 2 choices?

Since Broadview is probably not preferred by first-years (I’m assuming because of the uber-long walk), you might still have a chance. As long as you filled out the rankings/extra info well, you should be okay.

I definitely made my rankings clear (I ranked having a single as first), but how could I write the extra info to be more beneficial or persuasive? I talked about how I am extrememly neat, orderly, and organized (yes, I actually have mild OCD), and for that reason, a single was really important to me. Should I mention other things that I like (particularly about Broadview) that could also help me? Like I actually like the location, as it seems to link students more to the city (close bus routes to downtown, lots of stores/shops, etc.).

Broadview seems kinda far from central campus.

? Shuttle stops at the front door, from Broadview to campus. And you are closer to other fun stuff, stores, restaurants, the lake, the Museum. Volunteer at elementary school one block away. Play ultimate frisbee on the Museum lawn. See Obama leave by helicopter off Lake Shore Drive.

But Broadview can’t compare with the modern amenities of Max Palevsky or South!
