Creative writing, including 3 novels (one completed and on submission to literary agents) and several short stories.

Approximately 275 hours of SSL. I also received that AP Scholars with Distinction thing, but I don't think that's very important. I intend to be a literature or art history major.

My list is:

UChicago
Brown U
Macalester College
NYU
McGill (three direct legacies)
Columbia
UIllinois

Your scores are fine for Chicago but a little on the lower side for brown and columbia (at least your SAT scores - APs are great!), but I don't understand why you would only take one subject test...

If you have great essays then you should be fine! I'm applying to Chicago early so results come out in 10 days!! Good luck if you have applied early as well!

In other words, the three schools have almost exactly the same stats, with Brown and Chicago having exactly the same 25-75 scores and Columbia being a little better at math and a little worse at CR.

In any case, the OP looks like a fine applicant. As long as he presents himself well in the various elements of the application, he'll do fine.

I'll do the ones I am more familar with
UChicago - Match
Brown U - Match/High Match
NYU - In
Columbia - High Match/Low Reach
[You never know what you will get with ivy leagues that is why I put them a little higher, but you should be fine for UChicago, just be creative on the essays! NYU you are in]
