They’ll probably be out before the 18th.
Maybe this year they release them on the 16th. Or the 17th. Or the 14th. Who knows?
If applicant numbers continue to grow, the admissions office may be burning the midnight oil just to get decisions out on the 18th.
I was looking at the UChicago decisions thread from last year, and the first people replying with their results were as early as the 17th.

Getting kind of nervous about my application! Decisions will be out in less than a month!
Also did anyone do the old prompt about describing a road? I did it and I was wondering how many others did as well
I’m getting nervous as well! At least I have NaNoWriMo to distract me at the moment, but I’m certain those last few days before results come out will be agony… I hope they either accept me or reject me. I don’t think I could cope with a deferral.
I still haven’t been contacted for an interview yet :(. Is there still time left?

but as long as you requested one, they won’t hold it against you at all
@gearsstudio i think its okay, mine was 30 minutes long. I talked to other people and theirs were pretty short too. I guess as long as you answered the questions honestly and to your fullest potential, it will be okay

My interview went a little over an hour, but I think that was just because the interviewer pursued a major that I wanted to pursue as well (physics). It was super informal, too. It was just like talking to a regular adult (except he was a renown doctor xD)

I think it’ll be the 16th. It’s usually a Wednesday in mid December, close to the 15th. So, the 16th. If I had to put money down that’s what I’d say.
The wait is excruciating… where else did you all apply?
