UChicago Admissions just removed by application checklist from my portal and left a note notifying me about it… Did this happen to anyone else and any ideas if this is normal procedure or if it means something??

did anyone get an apology email from Chicago about the missing financial aid thing? I got one and they said they accidentally sent some emails yesterday that were not true.
I haven’t heard much of anything from UChicago, which is ironic as they send fifty thousand emails/letters telling me to apply. Now i just really really really hope i get in, its my ultimate dream school.

i heard rumors saying that Uchicago has already been sending results to admitted students? I don’t know if that is true?

@yc2989 Yes, its true. They send provisional acceptances to some of the most highly recruited athletes. Same thing as likely letters that ivy league schools send.

A few people get likely letters, yeah. Most accepted don’t.
@dr0wning lol our fates crossed yet again… well, if I don’t get into UChicago early I’m applying ED2 to Swattie. Had a dream about going to Swattie in October, so probably my clue of what to do next

@icybal99 we meet again fellow Cornell ED applicant. I got deferred and I’m hoping UChicago doesn’t do the same thing to me.
