Best of luck. The date caught my S21 by surprise yesterday. He has Chicago and MIT in the same weekend. Think he would fit in better at Chicago, but would be happy with either.

Same scenario here with my D. Probably going to be a sad weekend!

Yep, I’m bracing for impact. He wrestled with ED2 for Chicago…really agonized over that one.

We are waiting on 7 from tomorrow through 4/9; probably cross over on a few more unless you are only waiting on the 2
What major is your son applying for? For us Chicago is much closer so I would be happier too!

Starting tomorrow (1 of my D’s 15 RD applications will be out tomorrow), next 3-4 weeks will be a lot stories, happy, sad, excited, depressed, etc. Good luck everyone!

Are they known for waitlisting a lot of students?

We are waiting on 9 from now til 4/6, so I suspect we may indeed have some shared waiting.

My son is interested in majoring in Mathematics. We are from Costa Rica, so pretty much every school is far. We have family and friends in many of the places where he might end up; its always useful to have some support network nearby.

Are you sure EA, ED1, and ED2 were released at 4:00 PM Chicago time this year?

I think I checked before I posted that. But maybe double check me to be sure.

I believe so, (applied EA, deferred), checked my portal at 4:02 CT and saw it. Wasn’t there when I checked at 3:30 pm CT that day, so my best guess is the 4 CT/5 ET.

Best of luck to everyone today!

Any regular decision people not have the Application Withdrawal Form on their portal to the right? Any deferred people that do have it?

we were deferred and do not have it… assuming a rejection is coming

No I don’t think that is it at all. On reddit, users who are RD seem to have the link and any deferred people don’t. I am sure it is just related to how RD and EA/ED are processed. Just was checking to see if anyone had different from the norm.
