i have just felt particularly impatient today. hopefully this next week and a half or so goes by quickly. i just want to know now (haha funny because i’ll probably be deferred)

i did odd numbers too and @awflapjackz i know the feeling! trying to distract myself with RD right now haha

@weepingmermaid i need to find the motivation to do the rest of rd… where are you applying?

I know what you all mean! It really sucks too because we put all this work into our apps and the chance that only like two people look at it and that’s the only chance we get is so scary!

Hello, did anyone do the prompt about three things that describe (or something like this). I just feel reading through the thread that it wa quite an unpopular option

@Maximio hey, if not a lot of people did that one, then that’s definitely a good thing for you!

@Maximio I did the three things, and I also think it’s quite unpopular.

@aliefmoulana Picking the unpopular choice is probably an advantage, especially at the UofC.

do you think we’ll get some news today or tomorrow? or probably closer to the end of the week?

im so impatient and no one really knows most likely… ugh

@awflapjackz : i did berkeley, and definitely interested in tufts, washu, columbia, nyu and wesleyan might throw in a few more, haven’t decided haha! still holding out for uchicago … hoping i won’t have to spend anymore LOL

@weepingmermaid nice! if im accepted to uchicago then my list for rd would slim down to almost zero. i might apply to columbia too :-)

@awflapjackz haha nice! and yeah if i get into uchicago i’m like almost certain i’d commit immediately haha. i told my alumni interviewer that and he was like “you’re making a great choice” lol if only i actually get in… :>

My D did the untranslatable word prompt.

i just wanna find out :-/

Been following this thread for a while not but haven’t posted. I am also EA 2015, expecting a rejection but hoping for at least a deferral. Honestly, I’d be OK with a deferral because I know my chances were slim I applied. I am also EDing at Cornell so hopefully I won’t even need to open up my UChicago decision.

@ForeverOne97 I did that one! I related odd numbers to hipsters, you?

Doesn’t the UChicago single selection prohibit you from applying ED to Cornell? Or is it considered a state university?

@zzzmmm I don’t think UChicago is single choice early action like Yale and Stanford… It seems like a lot of people have done UChicago along with an ED school :)

@zzzmmm Uchicago is a non binding early action

@weepingmermaid So would I! Ugh, I’m so impatient.

@Awflapjackz For some reason I kind of expected there to be news this morning because it’s the beginning of the second week, but there hasn’t been any that I know of. This is killing me.

@alleycat It’s not single choice, but of course if UChicago is your first choice you’d be taking a huge risk applying ED to an ivy or something, because if you got in to both you’d have to turn Chicago down.
