That sounds fantastic! And scav sounds like an absolutely marvelous event! If I got in, I think I’d try to run XC at what ever level they let me, but ice hockey sounds… Intense!!</p>
<p>@JustinTheory I played ice hockey for a long time. I couldn’t this year, but it’s still my favorite sport in the world. Honestly I’m also kind of excited to struggle with the workload. I think school is what you make it and everything, but I know I struggle a lot when I don’t feel challenged in my classes and I don’t think that would ever come close to being an issue at UChicago. </p>

<p>@ogacihcu Haha yeah, I visited last winter and despite the cold (it was FREEZING… and I’m from Minnesota so I know cold haha), I still fell in love with the school!</p>

<p>I’m glad I visited. The campus and its crazy prettiness got me captivated and I spent the rest of the tour and info sesh thinking, “please don’t say anything to ruin this school because it is gorgeous.” Luckily UChicago is awesome for much more than its campus and city. All the more reason I want to go there so badly. </p>

<p>I have this image of reading a book in one of the coffee shops and a total stranger coming up to me and sitting down and us having like an hour long conversation about the book. I feel like that’s the kind of thing that could happen at UChicago. Also fall is the best season.</p>

<p>yeah it does! Chicago’s claim to fame about scav is that those kids made an actual nuclear reactor in their dorm because it was on the list (as a joke I assume). Have you looked at any of the lists from past years? </p>
