guys, i want this so badly ): this is becoming a sentimental friday night

@Localdreamer15 I hope not! @gymnastmd I haven’t sent my regional counselor anything so I’m not really sure

@mtjade perhaps they asked your school for your available senior grades?

@Awflapjackz congrats on Purdue that’s awesome maybe it’ll take some pressure off of the UChicago decision!

Did anyone get that email from Admissions announcing the decision date? They said they’d send the email to all applicants, but my D didn’t get any such email. The date is in tumblr and the UChicago site.

I haven’t gotten an email from them

@wethemusicmakers thank you! i wish it took some pressure off but i feel worse about next week…

@Awflapjackz me too. I’m so nervous. On the one hand I want to know right now but as long as I don’t know it’s still possible that I’ll be accepted. I just keep imaging how sad I’ll be when I’m deferred or rejected and I just don’t want that day to come.

I’m freaking out for Wednesday…

I’m excited to log in to see a rejection on the 17th. After all, the acceptance rate is very, very low. I know for sure I’m not getting in but at least I can say I applied to the University of Chicago.

everyone, the official post is:

“We will release EA application decisions electronically in the late afternoon on Wednesday, December 17. Students will receive an email notification when their decision may be viewed through the UChicago Account.”

this probably indicates that you will get an email WHEN the decisions actually come out, not before
no one’s getting any emails until wednesday, i’m guessing

Here’s the link:

@wethemusicmakers yeah, it’s fun to imagine that i will be accepted and everyone will be happy for me. but then i face reality and know that i’ll be deferred. it’s like i’m able to pretend that the disappointment isn’t going to happen… yet. it’s kind of fun to be positive until wednesday because it’s going to be all over then.

@awflapjackz congrats on Purdue from an alum.

@mtjade The “Other” category in my Ds case was for an official UChicago transcript she sent in from the summer HS program she went to there.

One more day closer guys! Try and stay positive! You all sound so great, UChicago would be so lucky to have you all!

@annwank thank you for the kind words!

Hey guys, what’s up? Amin, American applicant, from NY, living in Morocco. We’re getting our answers back Wednesday, the 18th. I called the admissions office, and though they supposedly sent an email out to everyone, I got nothing. Still, 12/18/14 is the day of reckoning. Time to panic

@gossipgirlxoxox Thank you!!

I am just posting my profile to encourage ya’ll that ya’ll have great possibility. Even I apply with this profile. Cheer up
