This is the first year ED, no previous data to confirm. Most people guess ED should have higher rate than EA due to the binding commitment
Best Wishes and Congratulations to all those who get accepted today. UChicago is a great school with a lovely campus. Not that you need to be informed of that. As for others who miss out on the letter today, your turn with the right choice is just around the corner. Be patient… it will all work out just fine.
I really don’t think 4 pm is official. Someone also “called the admissions office” before we knew an official release date and they said the end of last week. So obviously they aren’t always right.
