@jakewdean Don’t worry- they know students make mistakes. I was freaking out because I accidentally put “President Ellison” instead of “Dean Ellison,” and my college counselor, a Northwestern alum, told me not to lose sleep over it. If you have a good application and the essay is good, they aren’t going to reject you over such a measly error. They might not even notice.

And yes, people will definitely get in EA- they wouldn’t have offered EA at all if they didn’t plan on accepting some people. I applied ED but almost applied EA for finances. The school understands that not everyone can just readily commit. Money is tight, and other options must be considered for many.

You can back out of ED though if you find there is no possible way to afford tuition
