Does anyone know the deferral rate? are 50% rejected early or is it a lot higher/lower?
no info on that
huge number of derrals
Does anyone know what happens if you get deferred ed2? Would you go into RD or are you just waitlisted?
@hirraine the only decision options are accept/reject/waitlist
when are decisions going to be released? has anyone emailed uchicago?
Not a current applicant, but my school’s counselor has said that it will most likely be the 13th. If not the 13th, it will be the 15th or 18th.
I think they have not decided yet
ahhh the wait is unbearable
if they told us a date it would make everything much better
For ED/EA, they announced a decision date a week in advance.
@JBStillFlying I still think it may come out Monday or Wednesday. They could announce during the weekend.
ugh. looks like we have a sort of repeat of EA/ED I with a strange refusal to alert us of a date. Fingers crossed for sooner rather than later.
@amwarren It’s gonna come out next week for sure
Hi there,
Is it possible for an international student to be accepted to UChicago with a TOEFL IBT score of 85? I applied to ED ii.
@michael9898 sorry to let you down bro, but 85 is too low. You may be accepted with that score only if you are the son of big donor or kinda very famous celebrity.
i doubt 13th cause as an intl student i got an email confirming i ve not applied for financial aid ( i really shld so expensive ) and if we need to change, we need to do so by 13th… so maybe 14th or 15th?
@katz2410 Most likely the 15th then.
@katz2410 UChicago is need-aware for int’l students. Maybe you are accepted, but they want to make sure that you will not need financial aid before giving you an offer?
