All right, thank you :)

Hi Grace,

Is it too late to submit supplemental recommendations? If not, what would be the recommended deadline to submit one?

Thank you!

thanks!

but does not credits matter?
i earned credits in field now i dont want to study and they were few.

Hi Grace,

It has been 3 weeks since I last requested for an interview, and no one has contacted me yet. May I know if this means that I will not get an interview?

student276, we will be accepting supplements (Arts supplements, music recordings, abstracts, supplemental recs, etc) until January 15.

doctoribach, yes, you would still be considered a transfer student.

simpleton, our interview scheduling will continue through February; we are still arranging interviews with many prospective students, so you may still be contacted about one.

I know this question has probably already been asked and answered several times in this thread, but it doesn’t appear in the past ten pages or so, so I was wondering: what is the University of Chicago’s mailing address for supplemental materials? Will this address work?

The University of Chicago
Office of College Admissions
1101 E 58th Street, RO 105
Chicago, IL 60637

Thanks!

snipersas, yes, that is the correct address. If at all possible (not necessary for supplemental recommendation letters), we would prefer that you upload any supplemental materials in to the Porfolio section of your UChicago Account instead of sending in by paper mail.

Hello Grace,

I just discovered that there was such a thing as an International Financial Aid Document and I realize now that the deadline is long gone. What do I do?? Can I still fill it and send it or because I missed the deadline, I am no longer eligible??

Thank you!

Thank you for answering my previous questions, Grace!

Would it be possible if I uploaded my supplemental recommendation? My piano teacher was on vacation, and if she were to mail it within the next week, it wouldn’t reach the admissions office on time.

Thank you!

Hi Grace,
I uploaded my ISFAA (Foreign Fin Aid App) on Jan 2, before the deadline, to my UChi account and after that I am sure it was on the website. However, the last time I log in it dissapeared, there was no information about my ISFAA. What do I suppose to do now?
Thank you

Hello Grace!
I was deferred to RD but I am still very hopeful! I submitted a research supplement on my account in November about my independent research in applied mathematics. I have since corrected a few errors and reached a few more interesting results.
I was wondering how beneficial it would be, if at all, to submit a new supplement with these details.
Thank you!

Hey Grace!
As a deferred applicant, I was wondering whether I could possibly write the optional essay I chose not to in December and if so how should I submit it? Since submitting my application, I’ve thought of some interesting ideas.

gchavez and yesman, you may upload updates in to your UChicago account until January 15th. either of your suggestions are fine options to upload.

@Grace: I contacted intadmissions@uchicago.edu and my ISFAA has been received. Thanks anyway

Hi, I was wondering if the format for .doc documents should be converted to .pdf? I have tried to upload a supplement numerous times however, but it has failed each time (Note-after I uploaded a little wheel & number showed up counting how many seconds have elapsed-I waited after 1800secs before refreshing the page and trying again). Thank you!

@Grace

If we have had an alumni interview, can we request an on campus interview?

Thank you!

rundmc, our uploader is equipped to handle many different types of files-- you may be experiencing a problem with your computer or internet service. I’d try again later.

letmein2012, no, you may only have one interview.

Hello Grace,

I recently found out about the ISFAA form and the CSS Profile. As soon as I logged onto my UChicago account. Am I still eligible to apply if I missed the deadline? Elaboration in this regard would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks.

Hi, do Uchicago accept January SAT 2 ? I did not have the chance to take it last year, so i hope i would make an advantage by taking it January.
Thank you

Hi Grace
The deadline for CSS and FAFSA forms is feb 1st. My parents won’t file 2011 tax return until late feb or march. So can I submit 2010 tax return forms to UChicago?
Thanxx
