UCHICAGO RD CLASS OF 2019

@Hersheybar315‌ I’ll try to make one.

I’m watching Big Hero 6. It’s awesome. I don’t know why I avoided it for so long.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

@ammo96 haha thanks! So where did everyone else apply? I’d love to hear haha

Hello friends

I was deferred Early Action. I just wanted to let everyone knoww that I am excited to receive an acceptance tomorrow when I view my UChicago account. I love being in the top 16% percentile, it will help me get into the college of my dreams, UChicago. i also have a 32 act and 33 superscored.

Cheers

@DL43516‌ Yale(deferred), Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, UPenn,Vanderbilt, Brown,Williams, Amherst, Middlebury, Swarthmore, Bowdoin, Carleton, Vassar, Lafayette and Bates.

@DL43516 Georgetown (deferred), Michigan (accepted), NYU, Boston University, UCLA, UCB, Stanford, UPenn, Tufts, Harvard, WashU

Does someone know if anyone was rejected EA?

@minastirith @Marisa58 cool, we applied to a lot of the same! Although I guess that’s usually the case on CC haha. I applied to UPenn, Stanford (deferred), Brown, Columbia, Rice, UT Austin (accepted), Tulane, and USC. I’m really regretting not applying to more schools, but oh well. I guess I’ll just deal with what I’m given, if anything lol

Did anyone else apply to all the Ivies? How many schools did y’all apply to?

@DL43516‌ I regret not applying to MIT, knowing that if I had applied I would know by Saturday.

@DL43516 Ooh, that reminds me, I applied to Columbia as well. Forgot that one. And you do have a good number of schools! Trust me, applying to as many as I applied to really took a toll, even if that does potentially mean more options. Congrats on the acceptance to UT Austin, by the way.

@minastirith‌ @marisa58 @DL43516 Me too! I also applied to Columbia, Princeton, Yale, UPenn, MIT, Duke (accepted), Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Stanford, USC, UCB, UCLA, UCSD (accepted), UCD, Cal Poly SLO (accepted)
Thank goodness all the apps were free!

I applied to Duke (deferred), Upenn, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, Neomed (already accepted- it’s a 6 year program including college and med school with a guaranteed medical seat). I am an early graduate from high school so I was VERY surprised with my Duke deferral. I thought I would be outright rejected. What do you guys think… should i just accept neomed or maybe take the traditional path of a 4 year undergrad college and then 4 year med school?

@uclabound1 Congrats on Duke, Cal Poly SLO, and UCSD!

@thebingbong I know someone who applied to all of them. Ended up doing 15, I think?

Do you guys know for sure what time will they release tomorrow? I remember the Early Action applicants received their notification by like 4 CST.

@uclabound1‌ How do you know about duke already? And congrats!

@Marisa58 Thanks! Congrats on yours to Mich as well! Hopefully we’ll be able to exchange congrats tomorrow lol

anyone know the total number of applicants this year for uchicago
