@ Cactusbass: Assist.org.

No i mean what classes I have towards my major and all that…I did barely any uci prereqs for my major, so I want to know if they have conditions, or if I come in as a junior take my upper div. classes and im fine…dont want to have to take a bunch of **** (lower div.) after I transfer…

Assist.org will do that. Put in your CCC, then select UCI, then your major and it will list the lower division coursework available at your school.

Depending on your major, you probably won’t have to complete the coursework before you transfer, but you will have to complete all the requirements while at UCI.

My friend asked a counselor from UCI and they said for the business major Calculus is absolutely necessary to get accepted to UCI. But I believe that most pre-requisites are recommended, not required.

Btw, thank you for your encouragements! I’m sure it’ll be up real soon! I’m just getting nervous because I only got accepted to UCSB and I’m sure there are many applicants who are still waiting with no acceptances. Good luck to everybody! There was a bunch of applicants this year, perhaps letter will be received even after the April 30th deadline? Who knows!!!

I just read last year’s thread, the last wave was just rejection, so discouraging…
But I know this year it is slow everywhere since more people are applying this year… I wish Irvine would have one more wave of acceptance

this year is different, more applicants than ever. but it is approaching to the end, ppl know it

is anyone planning on taking classes at uci during the summer?

adpres: have you got accepted yet? If i am accepted, then i will take one class there

yeah i already did. i was just wondering how hard itd be to get into the summer bridge program o.o.

Does anybody know if the UCI Grant includes the Cal Grant?

Did anyone get into EOP?

Well, this is it - the last week. Hope everyone gets in to their first choice. For me, that’s Irvine Still waiting…

Don’t lose hope

I’m all ready to submit my SIR for Davis if I don’t hear from Irvine in the next few days. :c

^^ Me too if I don’t get accepted to UCLA that is. Even if I do get accepted to Irvine, I will probably still go to Davis because I like how Davis does things. I just got accepted to Davis and I go my Davis packet in the mail today. Meanwhile at Irvine I’m still waiting for a decision.

My backups (if I don’t get into Cal or Irvine) are CSUs, and most of them need a SIR by May 1st. If Irvine is late with their decision I’m going to be turning down a few acceptances without even knowing if I got in.

I have a feeling that a lot of us that are worrying about getting in are going to get in… I think that they started late reviewing transfer apps and that’s why they are going into the later weeks. I only say this because I have a 3.4 applying as a history major (not impacted major) and wrote a good essays. I think that keeping hope isn’t foolish even at this point, late in the game.
