@kokonutz You’re psych, right? Don’t worry-- I know assist.org is somewhat ambiguous, but you are not required to complete those before transferring. You have to complete them for your degree, but they can be completed at UCI.

I hear that. Speaking of math, I’ve been meaning to do my homework for the past three hours but I’ve been glued to the computer refreshing my admission status…

Hang in there. Like I said, there were tons of people who got accepted on the last possible day last year. This isn’t an indication of anything.

Alrighty folks!
Rejected this morning 4/27/11 6:00AM
GPA: 3.1
Major: Electrical Engineering
IGETC: complete
Major pre-req: One physics left but its offered once a year
No TAG
Working Full-time
Rejected from UCLA (of course), UCR, UCSB, UCI, CSULB and UCD
Waiting on UCB (yeah right!), and UCSD (uh huh)

Yes, I check it every 10 minutes or so, so if mine changes you will know. Have you even slept yet?

What I’m wondering is why these psych majors are being rejected…are they UC ineligible? I read somewhere that usually if you are UC eligible, you would get in.

I am actually relieved that the batch of rejections came out and that I am not among them. Reading last year’s thread they did the same. A huge batch of rejections around the 27th and then some more acceptances and a few more rejections by the 5th of May.
@ kokonuts I am not sure what you mean by not being UC eligible…
For those of you who have been rejected with really high GPAs I would call them because mistakes happen.
Also from what I read those who attended 4 year institutions or are transferring from a 4 year institution are usually notified towards the end…
