<p>When i checked my home page to see whether I have received any emails I noticed below it says</p>
<p>We have received your Advanced Standing (Transfer) application.</p>
<p>What does that mean? Is that TAG?</p>
<p>It’s not TAG because mine says it too but I am not tagged.</p>
<p>Can anyone confirm if it actually says TAG down there for people that actually TAG’d to UCI</p>
<p>I tagged to UCI and it doesn’t mention TAG anywhere. Advanced Standing just means Junior transfer, I believe.</p>
<p>^ agreed. It just means that we are junior standing. Mine says the same thing as well</p>

<p>I’m guessing it just means that they have received your Transfer Application. I’m guessing the “Advanced Standing” is another way to say “Transfer” since you didn’t submit a Freshman Application.</p>

<p>So last year UCI released the first batch of admission notices on 3/5. I predict we’ll hear something either tomorrow or Friday =)</p>

<p>yea everyone is right, advanced standing is another way of saying you are a transfer student. it says that for everyone who applied to uc irvine as a transfer student regardless of ur gpa, or whether or not u did TAG. :)</p>
<p>does UCSD have one of these because i can’t seem to find the page where it acutally says something about that status of your application…</p>
