UCI TAG.. When will I hear?

<p>I just want to hear already! I know I'm technically already in since I did the TAG, but it'd be nice to actually GET the acceptance letter. Why is it taking so long when I'm supposed to already be in?!</p>

<p>I know another person that is in the same boat as you. I find it odd, because UCI was the first school to let me know last year.</p>

<p>a UCI Rep told me they were supposed to come this week, but i have yet to hear anything from anyone.</p>

<p>Wow, I thought you should've got in by now because of TAG. I'm doing TAG for UCI too for Fall 10'. Well congrats when you do recieve the letter.</p>

<p>I just noticed Irvine released a new calendar for admissions, its on the admissions page:</p>

<p>Welcome</a> to the Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools (OARS) website!</p>

<p>It now lists April as the transfers notification date:
04/01-04/30/09 - UCI begins notification of Transfer admission status</p>

<p>The previous 2008-2009 admissions calendar listed March for both frosh and transfer students:
March 1-31 - UCI begins notification of Freshmen and Transfers admission status</p>

<p>It would suck if transfer decisions did get pushed back to April :(.</p>

<p>i spoke to the UCI rep on tuesday march 10th, and he told me "this week". </p>

<p>I have yet to get anything so maybe its the week of March 16th?</p>

<p>That'd be FANTASTIC. The rep for my college wasn't too helpful. =/ Planning on going to UCI? Or just randomly decided to do a TAG with them?</p>

<p>Well its either UCI or Cal poly, (Math Major). And Cal poly already accepted me, however since ill be living on campus they want my first deposit by the 20th. So I am in a pickle as is, and I am hopping i get the UCI admittance letter before the 20th. Although I have Tag i don't like to completely put my trust in a school, I like to always have a back up plan.
But hopefully UCI will get to me before the 20th.</p>
