<p>No worries mate, i was as well. Still feel kinda selfish pining for a spot on UCI when i’ve gotten into a good (if not better college). But its been my dream for awhile and I won’t let it die without a fight. </p>
<p>May the appeal decisions come swiftly. Its stupid because UCSD, UCD and now SB have all responded to their appeals but not UCI? Surely it will be soon. </p>

<p>Soon? u guys called and they said mid June late July. It better come out on May 15. F*** this. I’m tired of waiting and getting rejected again. i swear my stats should have gotten me into UCI at least.</p>

<p>Beats me. I figure it was a different essay that I wrote for BU (supplement) as the commonapp essay was kinda the same. My letter of recs were supposedly great so I had my teacher send the same one to UCI. I think everything happens for a reason so I’m not too bitter about it. I would like to know asap because after a certain point of time, I simply won’t consider another college. If its in the cards, I’d like to know now so I can make a decision not in August when I’m basically ready to be shipped off.</p>
<p>@TSchaser when do you think appeal decisions come out? I really need to get into UCI. I appealed to UCD and UCI and was wait listed UCSB. I can’t go 0 for 3. I also use a lot of time to construct my appeal. This one can’t fail. </p>
<p>Wish I knew man. My guts telling me it’ll be within 2 weeks, the evidence is pointing to july. </p>

<p>Mayybe. It really depends on when the waitlist gets exhausted. For example, i know a girl who just got off the WL today. They give roughly a week for these people to decide. </p>

<p>Thanks! I SIR’d at UCR. I’m counting on UCI because of their public health program which only Berkeley has other than Irvine. Hopefully it all works out. </p>
<p>So does it look like they are going to accept more than 34 appeals this year? (2013 number of appeals accepted)</p>
