With most decisions already sent out, who views UCI as their first choice school? I will sign my SIR shortly after being rejected from UC Berkeley this Thursday ;). Coming from a small private school in the Bay Area, the next 4 years should be a really interesting experience!

PS- If you 're committed to UCI, feel free to join your future classmates in this group. I'm not trying to self-promote or anything like that...just trying to make a group that could be a benefit to us all.

UCI was never really my first choice when I applied to it, but I've been warming up to it recently. After being rejected by UCLA later on, I think UCI would be a great place for me. :)

If i get rejected from all the schools and my other admissions were somehow rescinded whilst uci offers me a full ride with a car to go with it UCI will be my first choice :D

uci is a good school too close to hoome for me tho

Thing is that uci is WAY TOO CLOSE to home (15min.....)
so i think i am gonna have to convince my parents that i need to live in a dorm if I decide to go to uci

UCI has been my first choice for awhile. It's about an hour from where I live so it's far enough away that I feel like I'm not at home. Plus my dad's office is literally five minutes down the road from UCI so he's already said he'll get me a condo after freshmen year. The fact that I can continue interning there and having him close by has sealed the deal for me.

Throw in the fact that I love the campus, it's in Orange County (close to everything), and it's got the major(s) I want and UCI is where I'll be next year.

Depending on how much I like Irvine after the overnight trip, it could very well be my #1 choice. Right now University of Washington Seattle is my #1 choice, followed by UC Irvine.

I got into berkeley, la, and sd but now im probably going to uci for the scholarship. Only problem is that uci is close (25 min) but im probably going anyway.

Why would you want to go to UCI? The only thing good about UCI is the InNOut at the University Center. JK JK.
