<p>@BigBoi1223 Yeah…I wish someone told me to take less AP classes last year (AP Calculus + AP US History + AP Biology + AP English = death). The only reason I have a slight glimmer of hope for USC is because I filmed football for my school’s team and I got some positive feedback from some USC Athletics officials on my videos and included that in my application. Hoping I get in because USC has the best journalism program. Probably not, though, because my GPA is killing me. </p>

<p>On topic: I think most of you guys need to stop worrying. I got in last Friday with a lowly 1780 SAT, 4.1 weighted, weak ECs, and 6 total AP classes taken.</p>

<p>@OneDeagedI think many are worrying because you got in on Friday (with the majority of the in-state people it seems), then OOS/Internationals heard Monday, and since then nothing. This reminds me of the Cal Poly thread.</p>

<p>@ivysunshine they probably will accept a little less than 27k. They accept more than they have room for because not everyone that gets admitted chooses to enroll</p>
<p>So in early march uci financial aid and scholarships sent me an email saying that i was considered priority funding is this a good sign that i might be in or do most students receive these emails regardless of whether or not they’ll be accepted </p>

<p>@firstgenblackman yeah college acceptances can be really random… I got accepted to pomona sometime in January. But I still have not received any answer from UCR even though they start accepting on Jan 15th… I guess we just keep waiting and hoping for the best.</p>

<p>Slo was just a small one liner - you have not been selected. I admit it was relief after checking the portal a billion times waiting for it to change from - we have received your application. I think UCI will be a relief too, just to get it over with and my son can feel confident in his recent decision to go to UCD.</p>
