@AeroDE yeah that’s what I’m gonna do but what I was saying is that they wouldnt refund the $150 deposit should I cancel my SIR with them.
@adreezybones Im not sure about your situation, but if I were you, I wouldn’t cancel it until I made a decision or sure about which school to SIR.
Yeah, I havent SIRd with anyone yet and will wait to hear from everybody, and also consider the financial aid packages they would offer. But I’d atleast SIR with LB should I get into UCI and wait til they come out with their package mid-May
If I didn’t hear back yet, am I pretty much denied?

Ok guys kinda an update. So someone on the UCLA forum said they found a chrome extension that plays music and shows a happy or a sad picture depending on your college decision so I tested it out. I already got into University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and it popped up with a happy picture when I logged in. It does this by reading the html code. I logged into MyAdmissions for UCI and the same thing popped up. It might be something faulty with the extension, but that made my heart race. My portal still just says that my application is under review still though.
@jorgegzuniga where on the UCI portal does it say your “application is under review”?
Oh sorry. It doesn’t literally say “under review” what I meant by that was just that it says whatever its been saying. I was just really excited when typing that that I put “under review”. It just the normal portal with “Thank you for applying to UC Irvine!” etc.
I’m almost 100% sure that admissions are a server-side update, and can’t be viewed through web-based HTML.

Tried the extension and I got happy onion man which according to UCLA thread means I got in. I don’t think it’s reliable but I hope it is!

I was admitted for Econ, but if I wanted to switch to quantitative economics day 1(which seems to have the same major change requirements), would they be chill with that. The resources I’ve seen online seem relatively ambiguous.
