Maxpowers: is that1200 out of 2400? I hope not, lol, or you're in trouble. Just maintain a good GPA throughout junior year (try.. 3.8+) and you should be able be able to get into UCSB, UCI, UCD, UCR, and UCSC. Aim for 1300+ plus on SATs and like 650+ on the writing section of the new SATs to be safe (so... aim for 2000). If you're hoping for LA and Berkely and whatnot, aim for 4.2ish and phenomenal scores and such. I'm not saying those schools won't accept you if you don't have those stats; it'll just give a better chance.</p>

ECs: A lot of math, science, and music.

<p>I was pretty surprised that they would send the Regent's invites out so early, even before the acceptance package get sent out. I just got mine today (2/11). I hope UCSD just sends its invites out later 'cause it would suck if I didn't get considered.</p>

ECs: the only leadership I had was newspaper section editor 2 yrs, yearbook senior year, but I was/am heavily dedicated, member of clubs here and there, Youth in Government program, my school's program is highly respected in the state so that might have helped, pollworked for the Nov. 8 election</p>
