UCI OR UCD for Econ

Hi guys, I am deciding on either UCI or UCD for Econ and want to know which one has a “better” program. I live in the bat area and don’t really care where I go as far as college atmosphere even though I have heard UCD has more of a college feel to it. I applied as a political science major and am planning to switch to Econ when I get there (how long does it take until I can switch btw). Thanks for the replies!

If you want intermediate economics courses that use more math, UCI offers a more math option using linear algebra and multivariable calculus (ECON 105A, 105B, 105C); the regular version, and the courses at UCD, use single variable calculus.

More math is preferred if you want to go on to PhD study in economics.
