UCI Provisional Admission for IB student

Hello,
I have a question about my provisional admission.

1) Do I have to have IB Diploma in order to get into UCI?
2) Do I have to have 3.0GPA+ on IB final grade? If so, what is 3.0GPA in
IB grade?
3) What is the difference between '3.0 senior-year GPA' and '3.0GPA
for senior year academic course'?

Is it really matter not to fulfill one of conditions above for my
admission? Because if I submit SIR and fail one of personalized
conditions, I have no where to go...

“Senior year GPA” includes all courses you took in your last year. That includes academic courses and also non-academic courses like physical education, theater or ‘living on your own’. If all of your courses are academic, then your GPA = ‘GPA for academic courses’.

If you are unsure about the conditions of your admission, email the amissions office and ask for clarification!

If all that’s asked of you is a 3.0 senior year GPA, that sounds like a general requirement that applies to all students. It’s not meant as an obstacle or a challenge but rather a message to keep your efforts up. American students sometimes suffer from “senioritis”, where they stop doing school work after submitting their college applications.
