Have people been waiting this long in the previous years?
I called the UC admissions office yesterday and they said decisions are being delayed, which is a little obvi lol. I am not giving up hope until I see a rejection letter! we got this guys

That would seem to be the case hopefully within the next weeks we hear back

Should I submit my official transcript to UCI even though I waitlist?
@Rayman03 Don’t waste your money because nothing else will help your chances of getting off the waitlist - it’s basically a lottery pick out of a pool of candidates at this point.
How soon will hear from UCI ? Any news?

I know this is really late but to answer @shampedia 's question, I got off the waitlist with a SIR of May 30th as an undeclared major. I, however, had to decline the offer because I didn’t receive my financial aid package. Good luck to all of you waiting to hear back. I understand how difficult it is to have this uncertainty. same here for transfers I reached out and they said it could be until the end of august. only business and nurse majors have heard back (that we know so far) last year everyone heard back the end of June even transfers idk why uci is taking so longgg ://
At this point I’m gonna have to cancel so many things from my committed college if UCI decides to accept me. Not sure if I’m going to even accept UCI even if they let me in lol.
