well, after getting owned by UCLA and Cal, my college choices were UCI and UCSD and U of Michigan is still pending after my deferral. So i decided to visit both campuses. And i have to admit, UCI is amazing. The campus aesthetics in terms of plants/buildings is great and the dorms are new and cozy. Seriously UCI has that small, connected feeling that UCSD lacks. And even though im most likely going to SD (or michigan if i get in), for those going to UCI ur place is awesome.

what's your major, flong?

you should go to uci. :)

mmm, that's good to hear since I'll most likely attend UC Irvine this fall.

flong,

I am a parent in Arcadia too. My D is a current UCI freshman and my S is a Michigan Ross B-school junior. UMich is amazing and UCI is awsome! Did you visit Ann Arbor yet? We visited UCSD but did'nt get the "feeling".

UMich is top in almost every field and UCI is in a strong upper trend (the new law school, the upcomming undergraduate Business program,................). In the near future, UCI might not be just the #4 UC. Both are excellent choices.

Good luck to your UMich admission and welcome to UCI!

My Daughter will be joining UCI eventhough she got accepted at UCSD and UCD and some private colleges. She will be majoring in Nursing Science. It was a selective process and she felt accomplished eventhough UCLA did not accept her. As a parent, I am quite relieved because I know she will go to a safe campus and a nice city.

I'm going to be goign to UCI even though i got into berkeley and LA. I've heard many nice things bout the uci campus (ucla too). I'm goign to be paying less at uci so uci it is.
