UCL or University of Edinburgh

Hi all!!

I have received offer letters from UCL as well as University of Edinburgh for MSc in child and adolescent well being and MSc counselling respectively. I am really confused so as to which one to go for. I am looking forward to some help. Please suggest.

You must have a list of pros and cons for each school, right?

UCL psychology programs are very highly ranked, but London is about 30% more expensive than Edinburgh. Are you from the US? Some states have very strict licensing requirements for your intended line of work.

No I am not from US, I am from India and I already have the required licence here. But yes of course I am also looking at it in terms of job prospects. So which one do you think will be more helpful?

UCL has always been highly rated for psychology, with many well known academic psychologists, particularly in child psychology. I don’t know Edinburgh so well, but the reputation of UCL would make me tend to go for it.

Post was from last May, @lizzzar - OP has probably made their choice by now!
