UCLA $100 SIR deposit not required?

<p>For some reason it says that I am not required to submit the $100 when SIRing to ucla. Is this because I'm a uc-uc transfer or what? I'm just curious as to why they waived it.</p>

<p>Anyone else not have to do it?</p>

<p>You guys are lucky. I had a pretty low EFC and I paid $100 to SIR already. :&lt;/p>

<p>My fee was waived too. I wonder if it’s tied to the application fee waiver since I had that waived as well.</p>

It’s based off your EFC. I didn’t have to pay for my SIR either when I transferred into UCLA. If you have an EFC of 0 or so they will waive it.

I also believe orientation fees will be waived.

It’s not required if you’re transferring UC-UC
