UCLA 2009 prelim transfer profile out!

are you serious?^^

its in the first link. click the school the major is in.

shut up… i’m drunk…
F the lakers.

pinker i dont blame you for being drunk…after that weak performance by the lakers i would have joined u lol

I feel bad for that Asian Religions major with the 4.0 who got rejected.

yeah… i feel bad for the person who was rejected to Linguistics and Scandinavian Languages with a 3.87…i don’t understand. Give it time and this major will be more impacted than Biz econ

omg communications avg. 3.95 crazynesssssss

how is poli sci an impacted major when 40% were admitted… that just made me feel less proud of my accomplishment.

40 percent is a lot but look at how many applied… The competition is still high, I think. Same with my major. And I heard that most of the time, people with high GPAs don’t get in because they didn’t finish their requirements. I’m not sure on this one…

I need to raise my GPA )': I should apply for Computational and Systems Biology (whatever that is?) Heehee.

I really don’t understand why the admission rate drops sooo much for engineering major…

gosh, i would feel special, but admit rate for my major was still 73%, so not letting that go to my head. :p

21% admit rate for sociology, feeling good here

I’m feeling pretty lucky I got in for Communications. Only 82 people admitted and a whopping 9% admit rate. Jesus…

Comm Studies 3.95 average acceptance? Hello English.

o crap to econ… fkmonkey! i have like 0% chance then

So is it only getting tougher from here on out? Or was this just the most competitive year ever?

It’s gonna get tougher for the next 3-5 years due to the economy as more and more qualified/talented students opt for CC.

Let us pray that for the 2010 transfers, the admission rates will at the least be similar to 09 or 08. If it gets any lower and I am not admitted , I will be ****sssssed.

every year is always more competitive than the year before.

haha, 68.18% admittance rate for physics majors. No wonder I was accepted everywhere. Doesn’t exactly make me feel special, but… I’m not one to complain.

***, 14.65% admit rate for the Art major and an average gpa of 3.42 for admits. Some of those punks got in with a lower gpa than me. I would like to see how much better their portfolios were than mine.
