<p>I love the study of communication and I am applying UCSB, UCSD, and Berkeley under that major, but I doubt I could transfer in to UCLA with that. How hard is it to get into Sociology with a 3.78 (probably a slight bump up after the fall grades.) What does the department focus on? Is it a place if I want to get into Business afterwards?</p>
<p>Department of communication does NOT accept change of major after transfer. Also unless you are a member of your colleges honors program, your alt major would not even be considered.</p>
<p>Sorry if my question is confusing, I am not applying as communication at UCLA because it is so crazy. I was asking if I could make it into the Sociology Major with my 3.78 gpa. I do not plan to change my major if I am accepted, it would just be an alternative decision for my once march comes around. I love Communication but for my career goals I do not need any particular major, but sometimes prestige helps. You know what I mean?</p>
