UCLA and USC Commute Time?

I'm surprised this question isn't asked more often (or maybe it is, but I can't find any answers on the Internet), but what is the average commute time of getting to USC from UCLA? I have friends going to USC that I would like to visit very often (several times a week, if not daily). Is it possible and/or convenient to meet with USC students at their campus (vice versa) on a daily basis?

Possible: Probably
Convenient: No

Most people don’t feel the need to visit friends at other schools every day.

it’s not convenient at all. it at least 20min driving (probably up to 35 with traffic) and it’s a bit over an hour and a half on the bus.

Depends on the time of day…

Mid-day, like 10-2, 20 minutes tops. Just take the 405S to the 10E and exit Hoover. FYI, I took summer school over the summer of 2010, class ended around 10 or so, and then I had to drive to work in Commerce (google it) - took this route every day.

Crappy times, could be 2+ hours.

Best to have them visit you… safer.

^+1. Lot more to do near UCLA anyway

i agree. The only thing there really is to do in that area is go to L.A. Live, but only go there if you seriously want to spend a ton of money.

20 minutes is a pretty convenient drive…

but in the heart of LA, if you dont pick the right times youll be stuck in traffic for hours
