Hi everyone. I am really confused as to what date i should arrive at UCLA. It says that the move in date for Housing is the 19th of september so i thought that arriving before that seems illogical.

Is this what everyone else thinks?

By the way, i am an EAP exchange student from New Zealand.

If someone can notify as to a concrete date that i should arrive because i need to book my flight and can't find out any suggested arrival dates on the EAP website.

Cheers

James

I suggest you wait until the housing offer comes out, I assume you are living on campus, and when you accept the offer, then you can start planning what day you should arrive.

I know that flights costs a pretty penny, but waiting a few more days couldn't totally kill your pocketbook, right?

The housing information comes out June 6th, THIS friday.

There are other housing days, some people move in only a few days before school. But as you are an exchange student, I imagine that they would rather have you there for all of welcome week (meaning you arrive Sept 19).

I hope this clears up for you soon, I have no other suggestions aside from calling the housing office and asking this question yourself.
