ucla arts open house; informal acceptance?

<p>i'm a transfer applicant to ucla's fine art program, received an invite through email to the open house and the language in the email may be hinting at admissions, it says that " freshman and transfer applicants recommended for admission by their departments" are invited to the open house...</p>

<p>confusing because according to the website, plus the fact that i haven't heard from ucla at all with the exception of this email, admissions decisions for transfer students aren't released until late april.</p>

<p>did anyone else get this email? is it like a low key informal acceptance letter?</p>

<p>I received one of these as well. As far as i know, based on threads from previous years, students who received open house invitations also received acceptance letters by late april. God, i hope that holds true :X</p>
