UCLA Bank of America Platinum Plus MasterCard??

so I browsed the BoA website on credit cards, and I saw this Platinum Plus Mastercard with UCLA logo on it. Has anyone ever gotten it before? Is it worth getting??

UCLA Alumni Association Platinum Plus MasterCard Credit Card from Bank of America

wow, that's pretty cool, a card with UCLA stamped on it! lol.

i can tell you this much, the AmericanExpress blue student card give you a credit line depending your GPA and/or what institution you attend.

Heh. I don't need any more credit cards. Too many already.

@xleper yeah but the student card wont let you increase your credit limit, no matter how good your score is or how high ure gpa may be. im gonna scratch mine for a standard AmEx Blue card

lol, i don't need to increase my limit, thankfully. but i'm sure at one point, i'm going to have to move on from it, haha.

i got that card, only because it says UCLA on it. i dont think ive ever used it. theres not really any perks to it. i think a small percentage of your purchases go back to UCLA Alumni Association, but you dont get any cash back or reward points etc. :D

i used to use my discover student the most, but now i use my chase freedom visa most. i think i started with a $500 or $600 limit with chase, and they bumped me incrementally to $2100 now. discover has stayed at $1000. :(

I use it … to show my school pride!

The world point program is kind of lame comparing to other loyalty programs though.
