@caffeinecup for me the people here are either applying to all safeties or going for ivy league status its crazy man

good luck everyone! see you all tomorrow when things get hectic

did anyone else apply undecided…?

@soulendeavor I DID!
i have no clue what major i want to pursue, so i’m hoping that by the end of freshman year i’ll figure it out

@breezing - Haha, thanks! I like yours too And I think that it might be a good thing you have so much going on tomorrow, since that way you can go straight home afterwards and check your decision!

Less than 24 hours to go, everyone. I should probably be doing homework or something, but impending college decisions are making it impossible to concentrate.

I applied neuroscience but have no idea what I want to do. I might as well applied undecided.

@limegreenfluff undeclared haha, my parents want me to do compsci but I’m not really all for that idea…(and I’m also glad I didn’t, since the ucs are apparently cracking down on the people who applied to majors like compsci and engineering)

@breezing haha dang! I only know a handful that braved applying for ivies, and none of the ones who applied EA got in…my school is towards the top in terms of schools in our state, but only like 5 people (in all the graduating classes combined) have gotten into ivies/stanford/etc…it’s insane

@soulendeavor I did! glad I’m not the only one…

@soulendeavor I applied undecided! I’m probably going to try to declare a comm. Major, but I understand that you have to wait until Junior year to do that.

I applied for bioengineering. I’m hoping that it’ll give me an edge because I’m a girl going into engineering.

I have no school tomorrow, so guess what I’m going to be doing. I’m going to be stuck on my computer all day.

im gonna be such a wreck tomorrow o_o’’

oh my goodness, I didn’t expect a lot of people to also apply undecided. I also have no clue what I want to do (but I do know what I DON’T want to do), so I’m just going to be taking random classes I’m interested in. Kind of hoping to do chemistry, but my high school chemistry experience was pretty bad… Anyway, we have plenty of time to decide, so I’m not worried too much. We all have to get accepted to UCLA first :)

What time are they releasing it tmr??

“Early evening.” People are thinking it’s going to be around 5 pm - 6pm ish?

So far I’ve been accepted to University of San Diego, Northeastern, UC Irvine (CHP), and UC Davis. And waitlisted by UCSD. This week has been a very long week for all of us. This is like our own little support group to keep us sane. Even when the decisions come out, I’m not allowed to look until my whole family is home, that wait will be agonizing to say the least

How am I expected to concentrate at school tomorrow like this?

I know how you feel, haha. Lucky for me, I don’t have a lot of tests to worry about tomorrow. I’m probably going to be writing UCLA over and over again in my notebooks…

How are they notifying everyone of decisions? There’s no portal or anything (right?!) so we just have to keep checking the application status?

@MsStarlite there is a portal!

https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/myApplication/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2FmyApplication

@breezing yes, that’s the page my daughter has been checking but she said there’s no functionality other than to check your application status, is that correct?
