@DreamforIvy In my experience, the UC’s have 1) sent out packages a few days after the portal has been updated and 2) sent out packages in priority mail so that they arrive the next business day. So it’s probably unlikely that it’s from UCLA. If it is though that would be amazing! Fingers crossed

@kirsten4624 If you go to MyUSPS, it shows every package that’s getting shipped to your address! You don’t need to type in any number
I highly doubt UCLA has already sent packages. Usually universities do this the day or following days after decisions are already released. They wouldn’t chance that I don’t think.

Any chance of an out of stater with 3.4GPA and new SAT’s in the 1200’s getting in for film? This is my son’s dream school, has wanted to attend UCLA since he was little. We toured when he was a freshman in high school. Anyone out there admitted with similar grades?
We haven’t received a no yet…so is there still hope? LOL.
@boymom16 No one has received a no yet…I don’t know how competitive the film program is, but I would definitely say he still has a chance even though his stats are below average. Honestly there’s not much of a point in chancing people because decisions are so unpredictable, and often times even random when it comes to UC’s.

(UC Santa Cruz released theirs last night at certain hours depending on your last name. Is UCLA gonna do something similar? I haven’t gotten any emails from them recently so idk…)
Is it true that technically you’re competing with your school ? Because it wouldn’t be fair to compare a school that has barely any variety of AP classes to a school that is super developed and has several opportunities for AP courses
