@vasodys I got the engineering likely letter for CS and had slightly worse stats than @10s4life
Okay just making sure one last time. The likely letter is a guaranteed acceptance right? I swear I have asked like 10k times, it’s just hard for me to believe
@jaquabert For the last time, yes. It’s an acceptance. They only give out likely letters to top applicants, so why would they reject you if you are one of the top?
It’s mostly for ucla prospective students but you can join even if you didn’t apply lol
@Faultystart
I received the alumni scholarship email but I didn’t apply, I didn’t notice because it was in my spam. Will this affect my admission desicion in any way??
@DenverBroncos559 Nope they don’t care if you applied or not.
What are the percentage of students who get admitted that received a supplemental request?
Got an alumni letter, chancellors reception for ucsb and got into ucsd. I didn’t get a supplemental email so that means they made a descsion. With the letter and getting into the other UCs do you think not getting a supplemental is a good sign
Guys! The decisions come out tomorrow! Speculating now isn’t going to do anything so just take a deep breath
@LetsGoDodgers tbh I don’t think there’s any way to find that out–I don’t think the UCs published that data!
@lmaowhy If your stats are in the upper quartile of admits for UCLA, I would treat that as a good sign. There’s no way to know for sure though!
What are international students like in UCLA?
Friendly in general?
@EdwardYYAN I mean they’re smart and set the curve for the rest of us if that’s what you’re asking.
Just for some of those last questions here is the Common Data Set for UCLA:
http://www.aim.ucla.edu/profiles/cds2.aspx Gives a lot of info.
@10s4life they get 100 and nobody gets a boost in grade
@manhattanite1203 I’m an oos public school student from New York that received the alumni scholarship email and went to the UCSB chancellors reception too! Your stats are way better than mine though lol (3 aps total, 31 act, 770 mbio/740 us history/730 ebio, 4.0 uw, 4.2 UC) Good luck tomorrow, and to everyone else on this thread!
Sorry if this has already been asked. Does UCLA direct admit all students? I applied to CS.
@422525 I think the only pre-major status they have is for impacted majors in L&S, since I think they admit generally there. However, since CS is in the College of Engineering, you will be admitted directly.
anyone know what time they come out?
@kmde307 5 PM PST. Is it likely for people who were accepted by Cal to get rejected by UCLA? I’m sure it has happened, just wondering about the odds
