@MomLA2018 In our limited interactions with the school over the last year (Bruin Day, Discover Engineering, orientation, move-in, etc), for such a big school, they are very organized and the staff we’ve encountered have been pretty nice, friendly, helpful people.

GPA : UW 4.0, ( my school doesn’t do weighted GPAs, but i figured i’d be around a 4.4 - 4.5 GPA)
EXTRACURRICULARS :
-International Action, serving as an officer for 4 years, VP and President for two.

-Started a non-profit organization that focuses on providing essentials to women’s shelters

-I’m still completely amazed and surprised to see that I got accepted. When I first opened my application, I kid you not, I thought I was dreaming. @umichross I’m an international student, and just received a mail today about a package delivery from UCLA. So I guess they’ll be sending out to all the admits.

@Mitato Most people went home for spring break. It’s a bummer cause the campus will be pretty dead so you’ll miss seeing how alive it is. But for the tour make sure to hit Royce hall and Powell Library. Those are the picture spots.
@10s4life How does housing work at UCLA? Do the people who submit their housing application first get their first pico of housing? So, let’s say I apply for housing on the third week April. Is it still possible to get a double? Or would the double rooms already have been given to the students who submitted their housing application before me? Thanks!

Hey guys! I have a question. Right when I received my admission I had to report changes to my academic information on the UCLA portal since I had dropped A-level Chemistry and my AP Physics and Chemistry due to clashes with my A-level examinations. Additionally, I had reported a change from Calculus AB to Calculus BC, and they said that the changes may affect my admission. I have applied with 4 A*s as my predicted A-level grades and overall have a good application (I assume), do you think that there’s a chance of me losing my admission? If so, how rare/ common is it?
