@10s4life @Pastpower I have no idea what chancing does beyond giving people a pat on the back for a job well done. What I have found most useful here is finding out if a school issues decisions early because there are folks that seem to literally check the portal everyday. Found out about 3 other schools’ early action decisions that way. Good luck to you all!
UCI is out today. when is UCLA?
@Laketahoe79 did you see a UCI email on regents or a portal post?
Several of my daughter’s friends got their acceptances today from UCI.
@lovespink there is no email notification, only portal update saying that you’ve been accepted
Is this rolling??? And do OOS receive them later???
Not sure if all UCI admits are out, looks like maybe just CHP and Regents?
Son accepted to UCI with Regents Scholarship…Portal changed, and he got an Email.
S18 also accepted to UCI with honors program invite. Nothing yet from UCLA.
D17 was accepted to UCI with the honors invite last night. A couple of her friends were accepted as well and there were others who didn’t hear back yet. from what my D saw on the website it looks like acceptances (without regents or CHP) go out March 16th
Is UCLA Regents really out? My daughter just disappointingly texted me letting me know that someone in her school got one today.

OK thanks. Wouldn’t think UCLA would send news out before 4:59 pm. Think her classmate is just trying to get to her.
OK… so got another text from my daughter to try to elicit some more info. Not so much regents but she said (2) of her classmates were already “Admitted” into UCLA. So are they already doing rolling admissions in into UCLA? We’re in California. Southern California.
Off the topic of UCLA, but there are no updates to my son’s UCI portal, and we had thought he would get Honors there (top 5%, 1590 SAT, 11 APs/Honors/DE classes, 3.9 UW, not sure about his UC GPA offhand, but he only had one B and has a 4.5UW on his transcript, solid ECs, captain of a varsity sports team, in-state, large public high school). He applied as undeclared, with a second choice major of political science. Hard to imagine him getting into UCLA if he didn’t get UCI Honors . . . .
@pickledginger Someone said UCI honors has rolling admission. Maybe your son will get in next batch. UCLA has holistic admission policy so no one can be sure about their admission. Don’t lose hope, your son has great stats.
@pickledginger My son has very similar stats. Received Regents interview invite Berkeley and Regents UCSB. Have not heard from UCI yet - assuming rolling, but would be shocked if he didn’t get UCI Regents…keeping fingers crossed for us both! 
same situation for us @pickledginger. Received regent scholarship from UCSB last week, but nothing for UCI
