I’ve been reading through these posts over the past few months and constantly for the last couple days and I’d like to say thank you to everyone who’s contributed! I don’t think I will get in but having everyone here to answer questions and anxiously wait for decisions with has made the process a lot more bearable. Good Luck to Everyone!!!

Hey all,
I currently an undergard student studying at UCLA. I used to hang around this site when i was applying to college. I just wanted to check if it still exists ahahahah.
Most of you are probs top of your class and applying to the top schools in the country. I have applied to all the ivys and got into cornell, penn, and dartmouth- also got into Berkeley. However, i made my decision based on how i wanted to spend, supposedly, the best time of my life. I admire this school everyday, and i thank my self everyday that i chose this school. My life could not simply not get any better. I hope that this applies for you as well.
To those who are stressed about how decisions are made: UCLA mostly cares about your essays. Everyone has similar college GPA’s and test scores here- have a 33 act and 42 IB. If you believe in your essays then you should not have any worries of getting in.

Hello everyone! Are you all nervous or calm? I’m calm as hell. I am just waiting for 5:30 AM to come and to see my rejection letter. Then back to sleep

I am so nervous I could barely sleep last night. I am expecting rejection but definitely going to be upset when it happens :))

I’m feeling super conflicted because I feel like my application was pretty strong but I have bad test scores. I just really hope they looked at my circumstances and didn’t emphasize my scores so much.

ECs include sports, music, and zero community service. Already affected me at GaTech

@mofro1 UCLA’s twitter said that decisions will be released after 5pm PST today. I am not sure what they said about Regents.

@srp2018 Kinda in the same boat as you, only difference is I have a strong application, strong test scores but a horrible gpa lol
Good luck to you all! Remember, we all have bright futures ahead of us and all of our hard work will pay off one way or another:) UCLA is amazing, but whatever happens I am just grateful that I had the opportunity to apply and be considered alongside all you talented folks <3
