Rejected for Film & TV Production (definitely not surprised haha)
4.5 GPA, 6 APs, multiple media related extracurriculars including team competitions & was given a congressional award at state level for volunteering. I also have an editing YouTube channel with almost 600,000 subscribers.
I’m from out of state and the acceptance rate for my major is about 1% so I know it isn’t personal. I was disappointed the required portfolio did not give me many opportunities to show off my creative abilities. I already got into another film school in SoCal though so I’m happy.
