Ucla confirmed the 20th??!

UCLA admits more than 15,000 students for fall 2012 freshman class / UCLA Newsroom

It's from the newsroom? At the bottom of the page it says the 20th, but the decision site hasn't been updated? Ahhh !

Ya, multiple sources say the 20th, probably around 5 pm.

There have also been posts from students that have spoken to UCLA reps stating that decisions will be released Friday the 20th, at 5pm. :)

pretty much

Wait…it seems like that UCLA will be offering admissions to merely 5300 transfer students this year? I thought the number used to be twice larger.

If it was twice as much we’d have 50%+ chance of getting in…don’t think so hahah

They admitted 5,492 transfers last year. Is something off?

@ocean - no nothing’s off, 5300 sounds right

5,298 actually and they had like 1000 more applicants last yr

look on the bottom. not sure why the informations are coinciding

@Citiz3nerased

Rhetorical question, lol but that was my point. :wink: Seems about right to me.

Ooopps, lol :p

Is it effing Friday yet?!

On the link OP posted, the article says we’ll be notified “by” April 20th, instead of “on” April 20th. With that phrasing, it sounds like we could possibly be notified earlier than Friday.

Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but hey, a girl can dream.

@CalGal- one of their twitter pages also states “All transfer admissions will be notified by this Friday 4/20/2012”…that would be awesome if they did start releasing sooner!

wooooo hurrrry up ucla!

Source for the 5 PM theory?
