Hmmm, I don’t know. I’m sure it’s all OK. Maybe in your essay you spoke about growing up somewhere else or something that might have made them think that?
Nope, I didn’t write anything about growing up somewhere in my essay.
I posted in the UCLA 2015 transfers thread way earlier and I mentioned that I was a USC student, but right now I’m at a community college so I would transfer as a CC transfer student. I generally talked about that and how USC gave me a lot of stress because of the expensive cost and crime incidents in the area.
Thank you again for your help, lindy!
I got the same email from davis. LOL thought I was the only one. but yea. For me it’s because I only attended two years of high school and jumped right into college.
Wow, that is weird, @chorean. Not USC, the UC email.
So you attend two years at your graduating HS and they ask if you went to HS in another country.
This probably isn’t related, but could the ambiguity have stemmed from your answers to the residency questions? Or maybe you inputted the high school information in incorrectly.
It’s likely just a mistake or formality. I would just respond and not worry too much. Good luck!
UCI asked me for the dates that I went to HS. I went to school A for a year. Then B for a year. and Finally A again for a year. I graduated in 3 years and I think I messed up the dates on the application so they wanted to verify. I sent them the exact dates that I went to school for all 3 years.
Should I be concerned if I have not heard from UCLA/UCB for updates? I keep seeing many users post about UC’s contacting them and it’s starting to me make worried considering update inquiries typically translate into “you have not been rejected yet.” Someone make me feel better
Don’t stress it, it just means you filled out your application perfectly and they have no questions for you.
