Just wanted to see how I stand in terms of getting into engineering at UCLA before apps are submitted! Thanks for the feedback! :)

I’m not really in a position to chance you, but I think I can say that your ACT scores seem significantly better than your SATs. If I were you, I’d only send in the ACT. (But that’s just me and others here might have a different view on that.)

Your math score isn’t really that high. It’s not bad, but I believe the average for most of the Engineering majors is 750 or higher. You also should take the Math II SAT Subject Exam, since it’s “highly recommended.” I believe for that test you should also be in the 750+ range. Your grades are pretty good, but I think their average for UW is probably between 3.85-3.95. Just because you don’t hit the averages, it doesn’t mean you won’t get in. But you’re obviously better off being above the average than below it.

Only send your ACT and not your SAT1. Your SAT2 math score is good as well and should be sent in because it’s pretty much required of engineers.

agreed, use your ACT since the score is better (and the math is higher !).

Your extra curricular activities seem weak, and your GPA is alright. I’d say a slight reach, especially since entering as an engineer is more competitive than most majors.

690 math is weak, 760 math II is decent. (SAT II math easier than SAT I math.) 3.78 unweighted is a disadvantage. Prof. Wesel has said that a single B in high school puts you at a disadvantage for undergrad admissions.

Your ECs are generic and irrelevant to engineering.

Sorry to be harsh, but I think this is accurate.
