So I go to URSA and my ePal is unavailable and are only showing me a list of what could be wrong. Is there just a lag, or that it's just not ready yet or does that mean I should just ignore this?

You should call them and ask.

I emailed them, but I think it’s my fault.

The thing is that I didn’t file my FAFSA, because I couldn’t until after I got my acceptance. I was told by someone to just do my FAFSA anyways even though it was due last March, so I did. Now I completely filed it.

Also, I’m getting this email about a TAP Scholarship but one of the requirements was to file FAFSA by March. I emailed them about that too.

Does anyone know what happens if you file your FAFSA late?

Ya, they can’t generate your financial aid without your FAFSA. They should put it up soon.

I have a similar question. I submitted my FAFSA in late January but UCLA didn’t have any record of receiving it, so I resubmitted it yesterday. Will the amount of the award be affected by this?

yeah probably

So I should just wait for my ePal to update?

@iwillflyby

I would assume so. But you could call and ask. See what they say.

So it was updated. And I saw all those estimates.
Now new question, I filed my FAFSA late (after 3/2) so I can’t meet that requirement for the Blue and Gold Plan and the Cal Grant.

Now, I emailed the financial aid office and they said that as a transfer student, my FAFSA would have been considered as “on-time”. So am I eligible for the Blue and Gold Plan or what? And Cal Grant, do I have to apply for that on a separate application or is that a included if I file my FAFSA?

"Note: as a new transfer student to UCLA you will be awarded as on-time. Keep in mind for future years of enrollment you must complete the FAFSA prior to March 2nd priority deadline to be considered on time for financial aid. " from the financial aid office.
