All prerequisites are done, except for one English course, guess that’s the reason. 
accepted for Gender Studies, CCC transfer, 3.73 overall GPA across 3 community colleges, my school did not offer Gender/Women’s Studies courses so my original major was Sociology (4.0 major GPA). I had to take a required class 30 miles away!

I mean I didn’t want to face rejection, so I applied at the last second. I’m an Econ major really so major decisions to be made. I can’t wipe this smile off my face.
HI! Long-time lurker of these forums so I really hope this helps someone else out that applies in the next couple of years:
Admitted to Pre-Political Science
3.96 GPA CC applicant (however I spent my freshman year at CSULB** and transferred to a CC for my second-year)
Really proud of my essays, talked about work experience, my interests, and the hardships I’ve faced in life(really put my heart into them)
Apart of PTK, multiple clubs, and law pathway program, as well as working 20-30 hours a week. Volunteered at self-help center in a courthouse during my spring semester (until corona of course).
IGETC certified and completed all major requirement courses. Did not TAP or TAG anywhere.
**PIECE OF ADVICE FOR PEOPLE IN THE SAME SITUATION AS ME: As long as a majority of your credits/units comes from a CC, you will be considered a CC applicant instead of an applicant from a CSU, UC, or other school. This is really important because UCs grants priority to CC applicants:) (I confirmed this with a UCLA counselor when they visited my school!)

TAP: No
Essays: honestly not the best
EC: Not a whole lot, just a full time job and some volunteering but nothing too crazy
